Four sisters want to get married

In the silence of the night, I can feel the cold air rushing through me. I get up from my bed shivering and slowly close my room door. Everyone in my family is asleep except my sister on the laptop chatting with some of her friends. I asked her to come pray Tahajjud with me. She refused saying she has some work to do. I understood and prayed my Tahajjud prayer. I could feel so much peace in my heart. Tahajjud prayer is my connection with my Lord. He is my best friend and I feel great talking to Him no matter how cold it is. My Lord coming from the seven heavens to listen to my voice. I would not let my sleep or the cold weather stop me. I know someday I will meet my Lord and I love to meet Him soon In shaa’Allah. This is my precious time and I feel relieved telling Him about everything. Tonight I asked my Rabb for a pious husband. I know I am not pious myself but I am sure by marrying a man for his religious commitment, I can be very happy and please my Rabb In shaa’Allah. I also made ...

The Story of Yusuf [ peace be upon him ]

The story of Yusuf (Sura) is about the prophet Yusuf, translated in English as Joseph. Yusuf is one of the sons of Ya’qub (known as Jacob in the English translation) who has the talent of interpreting dreams. One day Yusuf has a dream and he narrates his dream to his father who immediately knows that Yusuf will be a prophet. His father tells him not to tell his brothers to avoid any harm. However, because of Ya’qub’s loving treatment towards Yusuf, Yusuf’s brothers felt jealous. They wanted to get rid of Yusuf, so their father could love them instead of Yusuf. Their initial plan was to kill Yusuf, but later they decided to throw him in a well. They lied to their father and told him that a wolf had killed him. Later, a caravan rescued Yusuf from the well, who then sold him to a man in Egypt. The man took Yusuf in and was hoping to either put him to work or adopt him as a son. Later, the man’s wife tries to seduce Yusuf, but he resists. The woman seeing his resistance accuses Yusuf of wa...

Adam (A.S) asks Allah a very wise question

There was a very beautiful conversation that reminds me of the verse (QURAN 7:23) and i’ll be brief. that took place between Adam (A.S) and Allah (S.W.T) and ibn Kathir records this in his tafsir of these verses He says that when Adam was being taken away from this garden (Heaven) He asked Allah a few questions 1 :- He said my Lord did you not create me with your own hands? and Allah says, Yes 2 :- He said did you not breathe into me the breath of life and cause me to live? and Allah says, Yes 3 :- Did you not when i sneeze , Say Yarhamuk Allah (May Allah have mercy on you) and Allah says, Yes i did say that than Adam asked a very wise question to Allah (S.W.T) that explains us 4 :- He said when you created me and you placed me in that garden (Heaven), and you told me not to eat from that tree didn’t you already know i was gonna eat from it? Allah said yes i knew you were going to do it. 5 :- So Adam (A.S) said then can you not forgive me and put me back in that garden one day? and All...

And warn them of the day if Regret

One of the most disturbing realities about the Day of Judgement, is that you will find yourself unable to hand over a single good deed to your mother, father, child, spouse or friend, despite your intense love for them, for you will be just as desperate for every good deed as they are. On the other hand, you will be forced to hand over your good deeds to people whom you’d despised, people whom you’d back stabbed, mocked, abused or oppressed in any way.  Isn’t it such a strange contrast? All of a sudden, it becomes clear why one of the names of this Day is ‘Yawmul Hasra’/ ‘The Day of regret’ ‎وَأَنْذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ “And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be decided; and yet, they are in a state of carelessness, and they do not believe.” Qur’an [19:39]

How Allah answer our prayers?

Shall i be rewarded for good deeds?

Narrated Hakim bin Hizam رضي الله عنه: I said to Allah’s Messenger, Before embracing Islam I used to do good deeds like giving in charity, slave-manumitting, and the keeping of good relations with Kith and kin. Shall I be rewarded for those deeds? The Prophet ﷺ replied: You became Muslim with all those good deeds (Without losing their reward) [Sahih al-Bukhari 1436]
